Fat-free Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1  ounce  Grand Marnier liquer (optional)
  • 3  ounce  Orange juice
  • 2/3  cup  sugar
  • 1  tablespoon  orange peel
  • 2  cup  cranberries, whole, raw
  • 1 1/2  cup  craisins (sweetened dried cranberries)
  • 12  ounce  cranberry juice
  • 1  teaspoon  cinnamon
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, over medium heat. Stirring occasionally, stew together, covered, for about an hour until the fresh cranberries pop.

Remove from heat and pour into jars. The sauce will thicken to a jam-like consistency as it cools.
