10oz packages frozen broccoli

Directions:

Thaw and chop broccoli fine.
Combine broccoli and chicken broth in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10minutes until broccoli is very soft. With a hand blender, puree the soup in the pot until it is mostly smooth, leaving some larger pieces for texture. Add shredded cheese. Continue to heat on low until the cheese melts.
